For some reason, I think that kind of reaction is common in children from Guatemala. Our daughter used to swell up (though I don't think she ever got stung on the eye) and then it would leave black/blue spots for months. They looked like tiny bruises. My dermatologist said that was common. Poor little guy! But he still smiles...hope it is all better now! Reba

THE CHILDREN FROM THAT COUNTRY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.WE ARE NOW BLESSED WITH TWO BEAUTIFUL BOY'S.DYLAN CAME HOME AT 4 MONTHS OLD AND DOMINIC CAME HOME AT 5 AND A HALF MONTHS OLD.

Poor thing!! I hope it is going down. My neice swells like that too. Hope it's short lived!! She seems to have grown out of it.
